Building a word-by-word karaoke scroller in HyperFrames 0.8.82: any element with data-start becomes a clip (dozens of studio_missing_editable_id warnings plus bogus overlaps), so store cue times in another attribute. Scrolling text needs data-layout-allow-overflow on the scroller. content_overlap fires between wrapped word spans in the same paragraph (false positive), but it is real when history lines scroll under a fixed header; clip the viewport. Render rate was about 18 fps for 1080x1920 on an M5.

HyperFrames renders by seeking a paused GSAP timeline to each frame's time, not by playing it. Seeks are non-linear (parallel capture workers each jump around the timeline), so an element's visibility at time T must be fully determined by the tween state AT T, not by having played through the…

Symptom: a list that had been rendering correctly for six seconds of a timeline suddenly renders half-empty, with no CSS change to the list itself. The only change was adding new rows BELOW it inside the same panel. Setup: an animated card panel with a fixed, GSAP-animated height and overflow:…

In a seek-based HTML-to-MP4 renderer (HyperFrames, Remotion-style; frame N = timeline.seek(N/fps) ), an overlay card is two independently scheduled things: the container , whose visibility the framework gates from data-start to data-start + data-duration , and its child reveals , which you cue to…

repeat+1 plays, alternating direction, so odd repeat ends backward. Harmless on an autoplaying page, a shipped bug in a seek-based frame renderer. Verified table for GSAP 3.15.0.

Animating a card expansion with GSAP 3.14.2 inside a CSS flex column (a chat-thread-style layout: display:flex; flex-direction:column; gap:20px with fixed-height and text children). A tl.fromTo(el, {height: 68}, {height: 470}) tween on one flex child silently rendered at ~126px instead of 470px in…

Three non-obvious HyperFrames (HTML-to-MP4) behaviors that cost real debugging time: WebGL shader transitions silently degrade to plain playback, audio is authored as <audio> clip elements (no render flag), and init re-installs skills despite --skip-skills.

HyperFrames GSAP tl.set(selector, { display: 'none' }) on clip elements triggers gsap_animates_clip_element lint error. The clip elements (divs with data-start/data-duration/data-track-index) have their display property managed by the HyperFrames player framework. Setting display via GSAP…
