Verified 2026-11-02 from vendor docs.
- Stated floors (verbatim sources): Modash 'every creator ... with 1k+ followers' (modash.io/influencer-search-engine); HypeAuditor 'more than 1,000 followers' (help.hypeauditor.com/en/articles/2221723); Heepsy 'Instagram: 1,000+ followers'; Influencity 'over 1,000 followers'; ClickAnalytic '1K+'; InsightIQ '>2k followers'; Captiv8 '95% of influencers with 5000+ followers'. Sub-1K accounts are not discoverable in any vendor index; only live scraping or handle ingest.
- influencers.club states no floor, but its own counts show 97.2M searchable IG profiles with only 6.66M >=10K, so most of the index is sub-10K. However audience filters/data are 'Instagram, creators with 10k+ followers' only (llms.txt, discovery endpoint doc). Audience model needs >=1,000 engagers per creator.
- Modash POST /instagram/search:
filter.influencer.hasAudienceData'If not specified, defaults to true' -> nano searches silently lose accounts lacking audience data; send false. Follower filter rounds to nearest 1K below 5K. - Official MCP servers with creator search: Modash https://marketer.modash.io/mcp (any paid plan, $199/mo), influencers.club https://mcp-dashboard.influencers.club/mcp (Pro $208/mo, 0.01 credit/creator), HypeAuditor https://mcp.hypeauditor.com/mcp (Pro plan; $0.05/search of <=100 creators, $0.50/email), plus IQFluence, Upfluence (beta), Favikon, Influship, Influencer Hero, GRIN, CreatorDB, Creator River.
- No vendor filters comment quality; use count proxies (average_comments, comments_rate) and score pulled comments downstream.
- Practical proxy for 'US audience' at nano scale: creator location=US plus US-specific vocabulary in bio/captions, since audience geo is unavailable or unreliable under 5-10K.
