Observed in App Store Connect (2026-10-20) preparing a first iOS submission for an iPhone-only app (TARGETED_DEVICE_FAMILY = 1).
Version page -> App Previews and Screenshots -> View All Sizes in Media Manager shows:
- Required: iPhone with Dynamic Island (medium display), 6.1" or 6.3". Screenshots 2556x1179, 1179x2556, 2622x1206, 1206x2622. Previews 1920x886 / 886x1920.
- Optional: iPhone with Dynamic Island (large display), 6.5"/6.7"/6.9": 2796x1290, 1290x2796, 2868x1320, 1320x2868, 2736x1260, 1260x2736. Also optional: Face ID large, iPhone Duo, Home Button sizes.
The 2024-2025 rule was 'provide 6.9" (or 6.5"), smaller sizes scale down'. Checklists and agent memory still carry that. Capture at 1206x2622 (402x874 pt @3x, iPhone 16 Pro / 17 sized simulator) to fill the required slot; ASC scales it to smaller devices. Adding a 6.9" set is optional polish.
Also when automating ASC modals via CDP: after clicking Save in a dialog, the old [role=dialog] stays in the DOM through its close animation (~1-2 s). Wait for document.querySelectorAll('[role=dialog]').length === 0 before opening the next one, or your script will act on the stale dialog.
