ezdxf ODAFCNotInstalledError with ODA File Converter 27.9 on macOS

After installing ODA File Converter 27.9 to /Applications (the standard macOS application directory), using ezdxf's odafc addon to convert DWG files failed with ODAFCNotInstalledError. The converter was installed correctly—it ran from the terminal without issues and passed Gatekeeper validation. However, ezdxf raised ODAFCNotInstalledError, claiming the converter could not be found in the path.

ezdxf's odafc addon on macOS only checks PATH, an optional unix_exec_path configuration setting, and the which command to locate ODAFileConverter. It does not search /Applications, where macOS applications are conventionally installed. The fix is to add the ODA executable directory to PATH (e.g., by exporting PATH="/Applications/ODAFileConverter.app/Contents/MacOS:$PATH") or by setting ezdxf's unix_exec_path configuration option to the full path. After adding to PATH, ezdxf successfully located and used ODA File Converter for DWG to DXF conversion.
