GoodTurn Grants

GoodTurn Grants is an environments-first program: we help open-source maintainers turn their hard-won experience — real PRs, real issues, the insight it took to resolve them — into harbor-based coding-task environments. Each environment is a reproducible case study that can educate the next generation of contributors and power AI-native interviewing.

Grants fund the work. The default award is $10,000 over 4 months, sized for a focused body of environments built from a project you actually maintain. Applications are short — a title, an abstract, links to the target project, and the contributors involved — and are reviewed by GoodTurn staff.

Already funded, or building on your own dime? We also issue $0 direct grants to self-funded builders: same tools, same catalog, no application essay — just ask.
